Customer Booking Terms
Last updated: 17 March 2026
We are Guestbook Events, a trading style of Brand Motion, a UK based Marketing and Events company.
2.1 We act as a booking agent or broker for event organisers, venues, promoters and hospitality providers unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular Event.
2.2 Where we act as agent, your contract for the Event itself is with the relevant organiser or supplier, and we arrange the booking on their behalf.
2.3 Some Events may be subject to additional terms from the organiser, venue or supplier. Those terms form part of your booking and will be made available before or at the time of booking where applicable.
3.1 A booking is only confirmed once:
3.2 All prices shown are in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.
3.3 We may charge a booking fee, administration fee, payment processing fee or delivery fee where this is clearly shown before you complete your purchase.
3.4 You are responsible for checking all booking details carefully before completing your order.
4.1 We aim to ensure that all Event descriptions, dates, venues, timings and inclusions shown on our website or in our materials are accurate at the time of publication.
4.2 Line-ups, timings, menus, seating layouts, support acts, facilities and other event details may change from time to time.
4.3 It is your responsibility to read the event listing and any event-specific terms carefully before booking.
5.1 Because Event bookings usually relate to leisure services for a specific date, your booking may not be subject to the standard 14-day cooling-off right.
5.2 Refund eligibility depends on the Event. The refund status for each Event will be shown on the relevant event page or booking page before you place your order.
5.3 Unless the event page says otherwise:
5.4 Booking fees, transaction fees, delivery fees and optional extras are non-refundable unless we state otherwise or the law requires otherwise.
5.5 If an Event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible once we are informed by the organiser or supplier. Any refund, credit or transfer rights will depend on the policy for that Event and the organiser's instructions, subject to your legal rights.
6.1 Once a booking is confirmed, changes requested by you are not guaranteed.
6.2 Where we agree to a change, this may be subject to availability and an administration fee.
6.3 Tickets or bookings may not be transferred, resold or used for promotional purposes unless allowed by the organiser and the event-specific terms.
7.1 Admission is always subject to the rules of the venue and organiser.
7.2 You may be refused entry or asked to leave without refund if you:
7.3 We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, hospitality, childcare, parking or other third-party costs you incur in connection with an Event unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
8.1 If you have accessibility requirements or special needs, please contact us before booking where possible.
8.2 We will pass your request to the organiser or venue but cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated unless confirmed in writing.
9.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for:
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, we are not liable for:
9.3 Subject to clause 9.1, where we are liable to you, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the affected booking.
10.1 We are not responsible for delay, cancellation, closure, disruption or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, venue closure, industrial action, pandemic-related restrictions, public authority action, civil unrest, terrorism threats or technical failures.
10.2 In those circumstances, the organiser's event policy will apply, subject to your legal rights.
11.1 We use your personal data in line with our Privacy Notice.
11.2 Where necessary to fulfil your booking, we may share your information with organisers, venues, ticketing providers, payment processors and customer service providers.
12.1 If you opt in, we may send you marketing by email or SMS about similar events, offers or updates.
12.2 You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, by replying STOP to an SMS where available, or by contacting us.
13.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us with your booking reference and full details.
13.2 We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
14.1 These terms, together with the event page, booking confirmation and any event-specific terms, form the contract between you and us and or the relevant supplier, depending on our role for that Event.
14.2 If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest will continue in force.
14.3 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law says otherwise.
